Today QOS Energy monitors more than 2500 sites across the world and supervises more than 1GW of renewable energy production capacity. Qantum® records more than 60 million data items per day from more than 600,000 sensors. In order to collect and aggregate energy data, QOS Energy counts on a reliable partner through which it can feed back large quantities of data, often extremely heterogeneous, to its information system.
The WebdynSun gateway has thus become one of the tools used by QOS Energy to feed back the information processed by Qantum®, the solar photovoltaic monitoring software on small and medium-sized photovoltaic installations.

In 2011, Orange and Veolia created a joint company, m2ocity, in order to provide a telecommunication service dedicated to connected objects. Applying end-to-end management of this new low-bandwidth and long-range infrastructure, m2ocity collects and feeds back the consumption data and alerts from the communicating equipments, particularly the meters. Since that project, m2ocity regularly makes massive deployments of WebdynRF gateways.

The solutions proposed by greengest allow the automation of the monitoring of energy flows in buildings through remote meter reading, and data centralisation and analysis. By virtue of its core activity, greengest had to find solutions to two major problems, namely the heterogeneity of the sensors and systems to be connected, and deployment on a large scale. greengest was looking for a partner who on one hand had a solution that satisfied these prerequisites and on the other was capable of adapting to a maximum of customer demands.

Deployable locally or remotely, EBV’s solution facilitates company management by reporting information on the position of personnel teams and equipment in real time, thereby optimising and enhancing the safety of people and data. EBV approached Webdyn and requested an adaptation of the WebdynRF gateway, through a specific development, to record the data to be monitored by using RFID technology. Today, EBV uses nothing but WebdynRF concentrators, which have thus become an indispensable part of its tracking solution.
